We started trading on the 2nd February 2009, right in the middle of the longest recession in more than 60 years*.

Our founder Wayne Reynolds left a secure job of more than six years and, with a nine month old daughter at home, set-up Birchwood Knight to challenge the established order of corporate communications recruiters.

Against stiff competition we are proud to recruit for leading organisations large and small, often on an exclusive basis. Our aim is to become the trusted partner for corporate communications recruitment in the UK and over time, in the USA including New York and Washington DC, in Brussels and mainland Europe, in Asia including Hong Kong, and around the world.

We have a plan to grow organically and profitably, ensuring that we deliver consistently high levels of service and share the rewards of our hard work through our annual profit share scheme.
